Interviewing Brian Santilena as your Listing Agent is a 2 step process

Step 1:  

Initially we will need to sit down together for a candid conversation about your home selling plans.  It will give each of us an opportunity for get to know one another.  A joint interview of sorts. 

The most common question I get is…. What is my Oakland, Piedmont or Berkeley home worth?  I will ofcourse give you my opinion of value however, in order to be accurate in my  value assessment I will need to know all about it first.  I’ll want you to tell me everything that you know and love about your home.

Some home sellers want interview more than one agent.  That’s a good thing.  I think you will find most Realtors to be friendly and approachable.  Both are important parts of sales.  But it is also important to  know how to Market properly, be professional, competent, knowledgeable and experienced.   You wouldn’t want to find out that your choosen Listing Agent is lacking in these other important areas long after you are deep into the home marketing process. 

During our interview I will cover all aspects of selling your home.  I will answer all of your questions directly and I will provide you with references upon request.  You are always welcome to review what some of my past clients have to say about working with me and if you are a fan of YELP you can preview my review page too. 

 

Step 2: 

After meeting in person I will prepare a full Market Value Analysis and Marketing Presentation that will cover:

  • Preparations such as repairs, improvements,  pre-inspections and budget.
  • We will create a detailed calendar that fits YOUR schedule. 
  • Discuss a Pricing Strategy and Market Timing.
  • Go over a full Marketing Plan.
  • Cover the costs associated with selling your home.
  • How we will handle offers and negotiations.
  • Discuss what happens once we are in contract.
  • And much more…

I can assure you that our listing interview will leave you with a firm understanding of the entire home listing process and the confidence that we will get top dollar for your home and in a timeline that works for you!
