Residents of Westbrae also have quick freeway access from Gilman below San Pablo to all destinations. You can also hop on the AC Transit #25 to get to the El Ceritto or Berkeley BART stations. Residents and visitors alike make the trek to the REI on Gilman, as well as the collection of specialty outlets and warehouses for outdoor gear, clothing, antiques, and the sprawling Pyramid Brewery and Restaurant. The nearby Cedar-Rose Park, developed from a section of the old Santa Fe Railroad, offers recreational space for children of all ages. There are volleyball, basketball, and tennis courts; a soccer field, picnic areas, and an amphitheater.
